Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers share their talents and energy supporting Pregnancy Help/Ayuda a Embarazadas in a variety of ways. Some volunteers help clients directly while others lend a hand behind the scenes.

We are currently seeking help in the following areas:

  • Material needs assistants – to sort, inventory and distribute toddler and maternity clothes.
  • “Security companions”- to provide Saturday coverage in either the Brighton or Natick office so counselor is not alone during 9-2 office hours. Volunteer can read or do personal work. One Saturday per month. Reliability is essential.
  • "Goodwill ambassadors" – to speak about the work of Pregnancy Help/Ayuda a Embarazadas both at parishes and other venues. Usually scheduled during evenings and weekends. The commitment ranges from a few times a year to monthly.
  • Drivers – to pick up and deliver baby shower items from parishes to Natick Office, deliver layettes from Natick to Brighton Office and transport items to our affiliated parish program in Lawrence. Commitment is once a month for a few hours. Evening, weekend and weekday hours available. Drivers must be able to lift heavy bags and climb stairs.
  • Pray-ers – to keep in prayer the women in crisis pregnancy situations and staff at Pregnancy Help.

Internship Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available for students and professionals to assist counselors with client needs. Interns must commit to a minimum of 4 hours weekly and be willing to uphold the directives of the USCCB on abortion, sterilization and contraception. Bilingual candidates are especially needed.

Material Assistance
We accept new baby clothes and other layette items. We also accept new and used toddler and maternity clothes. Due to storage constraints, items can be delivered to our Natick office only. Please call ahead to make sure someone will be there to assist you.
