Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers share their talents and energy supporting Pregnancy Help/Ayuda a Embarazadas in a variety of ways. Some volunteers help clients directly while others lend a hand behind the scenes.

We are currently seeking help in the following areas:

• Development of marketing strategies to help
  parishes, universities, physicians, and counselors
  become more aware of our services.
• Office assistance, especially for our Outreach Program.
  Responsibilities include answering the phone, helping
  with mailings and making phone calls. Currently, this
  position is in our Natick office only.
• Service as a "mother to a mother," offering support and
  companionship to a client throughout her pregnancy and childbirth.
  
• Coordination of "baby showers" to assist our clients. Help with pick-up and delivery
• Service as "friendship counselors" in our office. Requires training and commitment of regular hours of service.
• Service as "goodwill ambassadors" to speak about the work of Pregnancy Help/Ayuda a Embarazadas both at parishes and other venues. Usually scheduled during evenings and weekends. The commitment ranges from a few times a year to monthly.
  
• Assistance in delivery and distribution of donated baby clothes.
• Prayer for women in crisis pregnancy situations.

Material Assistance
We accept new baby clothes and other layette items. Due to storage constraints, items can be delivered to our Natick office only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept used items.
